Suggest Treatment For Chronic Stomach Pain And Vomiting
I have been suffering from a stomach pain for a few years now. I get bad heartburn accompanied with a feeling of pressure centered right below the sternum. When I have this problem I will sometimes vomit unexpectedly especially if bend over or lay down, however this is not a consistent problem. I used to experience this sensation only after eating but now it is happening even on an empty stomach.
This stomach pain with occasional vomiting could be due to long term gastritis.
The cuses of gastritis are helicobactor pylori infection, oily and spicy diet,or drug induced.
You should go for routine blood count,ESR,urinalysis with ultrasound abdomen with upper GI endoscopy to rule out other gastric pathology and to confirm gastric inflammation.
You may require antibiotics like oflox-oz,h2 blockers like ranitidine or proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole, rabeprazole etc with cryoprotective drugs like sucralfate, misoprostol etc.
It underlying cause is H pylori then you will require triple drug regimen means two antibiotics and PPI.
Consult your gastroenterologist for further advice.
