I ve had chronic sinus issues for the last 10 years, I ve had two surgeries and it helps for a couple months, then I m back to constant congestion. I ve been taking lexapro for about a year, along with singular and Zyrtec. I stopped taking my lexapro for a while and recently started back up. I noticed that my congestion is even worse now that I m back on lexapro..... Could that be contributing?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chronic sinus issues and now experiencing same symptoms. It could be possible that you have developed dependence on Lexapro. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment as per that. You should get CT scan of sinuses and Chest DONE with contrast to get an exact diagnosis of the lung disease. Sip on warm saline gargles. Continue antibiotic course and avoid taking oily and spicy food and cold beverages.Probably you are suffering from an allergic problem or fibrotic diseases so you should start treatment after proper examination.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
