Hello,

Chronic sinus infection is treated with nasal saline irrigation. Conservative treatment is given with nasal corticosteroids in the form of sprays. Antihistamines help to control the symptoms arising due to allergy. Corticosteroids are given orally or in the form of injectables. If symptoms are due to polyp, it is accordingly treated.

Antifungal medications are given if symptoms are due to fungal infection. Rinse out your nasal passages. Take rest, warm compress is helpful. Avoid allergy triggers. Do not smoke. Take anti-inflammatory medications. Sometimes, it is treated with immunotherapy or surgery is recommended if required. Ear infection occurs commonly due to AOM or wax. You are suggested to be careful while bathing, let not water enter your ears.

Do not go to swimming pool. Infection may become worse. Get clinically examined by an ENT. If wax is found, it will be removed by ear wash, a clinical procedure. If AOM is diagnosed, you will be treated with a course of antibiotics and analgesic.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
