Suggest Treatment For Chronic Hemorrhoids And A Burning Sensation At The Anus

I have been experiencing hemhorroids for several months, on and off... just dealing with it.. while on the toilet for a number 2, after straining a bit, I experienced an intense burning sensation through my scrotum, like my entire scrotum had bee n suddenly dipped into a deep fryer...I do not know what caused this... it faded after a few moments but I have a dull ache there towards my anus.. now.. that seems to be related to my hemorroihds...what could it be?
Male 48 yrs old

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain burning pain and discomfort while straining along with a history of having haemorrhoids can be due to inflammation of the and haemorrhoids due to straining and burning pain in scrotum seems to be radiating pain from the haemorrhoids..
I would suggest you to consult a Proctologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like anoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
You can be advised to apply steroid ointment and numbing gels like Lignocaine over the haemorrhoid and anal region..
You can be advised to take laxatives and stool softeners like Docusate as it will help in easing evacuation and avoid pain..
You should also avid spicy food..
Drink pelnty of water and take a high fibre diet as fibres also tend to smoothen the stools..
You should sit in warm water tub 2 to 3 times a day also known as Sitz bath..
Do cool compresses at the anal region to reduce inflammation..
You can also go for surgical treatments like Rubber band ligation, sclerotherapy and cryotherapy..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
