A chronic coughing causing pain in back; cough is dry( unproductive); often causing anxiety; often violent coughing spells; coughing for more than a year. Been to doctors- cardiologist who says he doesn t think it is related to the heart or pulmonary and gave me peptic medicine saying he thinks its acid reflux but don t have any other symptoms of that disease; allergist gave more antibiotic. Yet with taking all this medicine still coughing persists. An internist took an xray at a walk in clinic and said lungs clear. No one seems to know what is wrong. Was diagnosed with Guillain- Barre syndrome a few years ago and still experience tingling in my arms and legs, balls of feet, but a neurologist I recently went to said I don t have that disease after making me tough my nose and did a preliminary examination. What do you think?
