Suggest Treatment For Chlamydia Infection And Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Neck
I was diagnosed with Chlamydia, but had no symptoms besides for a strong odor and swollen lymph nodes in my neck, I took antibiotics and the swelling and smell went away. However, I still have a pearly white discharge and I ve been told I taste very sour. Does this mean the treatment didn t work? Or is this something different?
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query. As far as the chlamydia infection is concerned, it can be treated with a course of antibiotics like azithromycin or doxycycline(if you are not allergic). Regarding the taste, it has altered because of the loss of papilla in the tongue secondary to parasitic infection. Nothing to be panic, it will resolve in a week time. I hope i have answered your query. Take care
