Suggest Treatment For Chicken Pox In A Child
My 7 year old daughter has chickenpox and the doctor recommended Reactine 10mg during the day and Benadryl 12.5 mg for nighttime. I didn t realize I was to only give her one Reactine per day, so she has had two today (spaced 6 hours apart). She weighs 60 lbs. Should I still give her the Benadryl tonight or skip it?

HI no NEED TO GIVE HER BENADRYL FOR NIGHT AS BOTH CONTAINS ANTIALLERGIC COMPOUNDS. COMING TO CHICKEN POX, BEING A VIRAL INFECTION IT IS SELF LIMITING AND CONTAGIOUS.
