Suggest Treatment For Chest Congestion And Fever

my name is ankush and and i am suffering from bad throat, congested chest and loose motion past three days. also i am having fever and is fluctuating . my doctor suggested me for wikoryl and odoxil tablets and now he has switched me over to zedex syrup.

I can understand your concern.
You are mostly having viral upper respiratory tract infection (URTI).
Diarrhoea I'd also due to viral infection.
Your drugs are appropriate, but along with drugs, follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
2. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid hard to chew food.
3. Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Usual time for recovery is 1-2 weeks. So continue drugs and above mentioned things for 1-2 weeks. You will definitely improve.
