Hello,

I need to know what medicines he is taking for his heart and diabetes as some of the medicines also has a side effect of dry cough.

This could also be due to acid reflux disease that might be precipitated with medicines and diet. If he is having post nasal drip it could also be due to chronic sinusitis.

I suggest you to visit your doctor for complete evaluation and modification of treatment if needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. SAMEEN BIN NAEEM
