General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history about having started with Carpal Tunnel syndrome in one side followed by another side, planned surgery but worried about the points you have mentioned.
My thoughts:
When the Carpal Tunnel syndrome is on both sides the most probable cause is hypothyroidism and hypoproteinemia.
Get investigations by doing Free T3, Free T4 and TSH and get this corrected is there is hypothyroidism and all your problems may be solved.
If all the reports are normal then you will surely get results by doing a proper surgery.
The circulation may improve and thus help improve the symptoms.
Also rule out cervical spondilitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
