Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

It is important to know the findings of cancer in ovary that she is having. The CA125 level is also important to know. In patients of cancer ovary with pleural fluid showing metastatic cells indicates that the cancer has spread to other parts of the body and probably she is having stage 4 cancer.

Treatment is surgical debulking any tumor in the pelvis and then giving chemotherapy in cycles. Surgery will remove any tumor that is operable and chemotherapy will stabilize the disease. Survival in stage 4 cancer is up to 2 years with good care and treatment. Please do not worry.
