Hello
17 years back , you took anti tubercular treatment and successfully completed the treatment .
When someone got infection due to tuberculosis in lungs , there develop infiltration in lungs , with this infiltration doctor can identify tuberculosis .When these lesions ( infiltration area ) heal there develop calcification and fibrosis , so this turn into scarring .
These scars are calcified and fibrosed lesions and an indication of old tuberculosis patient completed treatment .
In your lungs these densities are due to healed lesions and I am sorry to say that these will remain forever in lungs . Till there is no medicine that can resolve these scars.
Hope this will help you.
