Suggest Treatment For Burning Urination And Blood In Urine

My daughter took an azo test strip test and it is positive for leukocytes the second box in the strip was negative. She is experiencing blood in her urine and some burning when urinating. She doesn t have any back pain but has abdominal pain. She also said she has been without a regular bowel movement and for her that is very out of the ordinary. No fever either.

Hello.
These symptoms are classical og urinary tract infection and cystitis. Please get a urine culture done to confirm the organism and then antibiotics have to be started for a week.

In our practice we prescribe Tab Norflox-Tz 500mg twice a day for 14 days. With pain killers and urine alkalinizer like syp citralka 2tsf twice a day for 5 days. Water intake has to be 15 glasses per day.
Relief is expected after the third dosage itself but the course is to be completed.

later this is followed by a repeat urine culture to chevk for completion of treatment.
