Suggest Treatment For Bump On The Thumb Joint And Pain
I have quite a bump on the outside of my thumb at the base of the joint where it connects to my hand and from time to time have pain in the out side of my thumb. Particularly when I try to use my thumb to hold a drinking glass or open a jar. What does that sound like?

That may be Bursitis(infection of one one of the parts of joint). The bump may also be an additionally formed bone spur. It may be lipoma. All is needed is a thorough look and examination of the 'bump' For relief you may take anti-inflammatory drugs. Your thumb needs a rest too. Try that. Give heat to the joint area. It soothens a lot.
