Suggest Treatment For Bump On The Head Filled With Whitish Yellow Fluid

my child is having a swollen small knot on top of her head for quite some time, which is causing immense pain. Recently the knot broke open and some king of liquid which was whitish yellow came out and then became normal size. Within 24 hours it went back to the original shape and started causing pain. I do not know whether it is nerve or capillary pain Pl advise

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a painful bump over the scalp that discharged yellowish white fluid when ruptured seems to be a hair follicle infection or folliculitis where it can also be an infected gland leading to pus formation..
As it has reformed and there is pain you should consult a General Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can be diagnostic..
In case of infection you can be advised to apply a combination of steroid and antibiotic ointment over the bump..
You can also be advised a short curse of antibiotics for faster resolution..
In case if it recurs or does not resolve faster, you can be advised to get Incision and Drainage done for faster resolution..
You can as of now take Ibuprofen to relieve pain..
