Suggest Treatment For Bump On The Clitoris

I woke up this morning with a rather large bump on my cliteros. I think It may be a cyst cause by an ingrown hair. I have had a cyst before that was caused by an ingrown hair but that was more towards my leg and this looks the same. Is there something I can do at home to keep it from hurting? Or do I need to go to a doctors office?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Hi.The swelling at the clitoris can be due to a boil as the history is small. Many a times an inadvertent scratching can cause a small abscess.
The treatment at Home:
Clean the area with Liquid povidone iodine and let it dry, take Ibuprofen in appropriate doses if it suits you, take an antibiotic if you have at home from left-over.
If the symptoms regress nothing to worry; do no pop as it spreads the infection.
If there is no relief or if there is an increase in the size, redness or pain consult a Doctor to get examined, incision if required and prescription based antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines.
Do no activities that can cause the swelling to grow.
