Suggest Treatment For Bump On Shin

I noticed a tiny bump on my shin yesterday and did not remember hitting it. It wasn t sore to the touch and I noticed no visible bite marks. Later that evening there was bruising around the white center, and today it appears to have gotten slightly larger. I read a number of forums that mentioned a potential bug bite, but again I haven t seen anything resembling a bite mark. I am currently uninsured so unless it is serious I can t check with a doctor in person. Thank you!

hi,
thank you for putting a query on HCM.
a bump on you shin can be a insect bite/bug bite if it is red and painful which you might have got at sleep or if you have gone outside.
i would suggest you to take tab azithromycin 500 mg for 5 days, antihistaminics like tab levocetrizine once a day and apply calamine lotion twice a day. but if there is pus discharge, then apply antibiotic cream like gentamycin.
