Suggest Treatment For Bruising On The Leg

My father has had inguinal repair 7 days ago. He is 86 years of age and his haemaglobin preop was 10.4 it subsequently dropped to 6.5 And is being transfused 2 units at home . My question is should he still be taking aspirin and also I have noticed he has further bruising on his right upper leg . Is this an indication that perhaps he is bleeding into the tissue?

You should report this to the treating doctor so that the medication can be stopped for a while or some other medication can be given to control the symptoms for better relieve. Stay cautious keep your father under observation and inform the PCP in case of any complications.
