General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It should be reviewed by an orthopedic surgeon and X-ray of the knees may be needed. Also that local application of anti inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen as well as topical antibiotics may needed. For bruises cold application or ice application may help for muscular pain, warm compresses can be more helpful. Oral anti inflammatory drugs like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be used along.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
