Suggest Treatment For Broken Tooth And Foul Smell From The Gums
I have a tooth I suppose to have pulled but I never went now the tooth is broken off into my gums and it has a bad smell and a hole but the hole looks disgusting its a dark gray and black small hole and I want to know if I could do something about it at home because my insurance is gone

Detailed answer - As per your query your tooth got broken off into pieces and you have dark gray and black area it is because the crown part of tooth has removed only and not the root. Root part is embedded in socket still and its causes continued accumulation of bacteria and debris in that area which on further accumulation leads to foul smell. Bacterial deposition can cause pus accumulation in that area and it can form cyst as well which will affect jaw bone and it can cause facial space infection.
Need not to panic about it , take antibiotics to prevent spread of infection. Visit dentist once and get extraction done under local anesthesia. It will take 10-15 min. and after that take proper precautions yours symptoms will be relieved.
