Neurologist 's  Response
Hello,

Very sorry for this dramatic news you are writing to your friend. Unfortunately, if the diagnosis of BRAIN DEATH has been verified by both clinical criteria of the neurologist as well as any of several diagnostic tests used to support the clinician's diagnosis then, the chance of recovery is infinitesimal.

Once again, I wish the news were better to report but the term "brain death" is considered a terminal and irrecoverable state.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dariush Saghafi, Neurologist
