    Suggest treatment for bowels & constipation

Ok I have been taking avorstatin since last October and gradually have had constipation problems I am on a diet with lots of fiber , metamucil and I exercise 3-5 days a week but it seems to be getting worse Bowel movement is difficult and stools seem rock hard

You have problem of constipation that can solve by diet modification.

Do exercise regularly atleast 30 minutes.

Drink more water.
Avoid alcohol drinking and smoking.
Avoid fatty foods and oily foods.

Take more high fiber foods like whole grain, black beans...etc
Eat fresh fruits and green vegetables.

Get bowel habit at same time .
You can take bulk forming agent like psyllium or methyl cellulose...etc

osmatic laxative like polyethylene glycol or sorbital can use.
Stool softner can use.
After taking this much care still problems are present than abdominal ultrasonography is helpful for diagnosis.
