Suggest Treatment For Blood In Stools

I am 65 and very healthy. No big issues. Recently for the past week, I have noticed that my stools are much less volume, somewhat loose but not liquid and a darkish, reddish brown. I can't think of anything I have taken or eaten that is unusual. I can say that I have not been drinking the normal amount of water, and started a new kind of hormone (bio) called a Troche ( compounded) that is a different flavor... however, I have been much more tired than usual (but have attributed that to a recent move.) blood discharge from anus can be related to fissure or fistula in anus or hemorrhoids
another possibility is rectal fold or liver disease.

relevant medical history like diabetes or liver disease
do feel itching around anus?
have you seen blood in stool?
have you taken any medicines or adulterated good
Since how long you have this problem?

meanwhile try to avoid constipation by taking liquid paraffin like stool softeners
Have dietary fiber to increase bulk of the stool.
have lots of fresh fruits and steamed vegetables
Avoid smoking and alcohol it could be dangerous for you
Wash your hands with antiseptic soap or solution to maintain good hygiene
Avoid fatty fried junk and cold food

since I can't physically examine which gives more clue to diagnose you more accurately So, In my opinion you should consult a gastroenterologist for per rectal examination and colonoscopy if need be.
