Suggest Treatment For Blood In Stool

A week ago I thought I had a UTI so I brought some over the counter medicine that would clear it up in two days. While taking the medicine I noticed that I haven t had a BM in a week so I brought a Laxative for that too. I took it two days straight. On the last day I noticed blood in my stool, and if i guess it was due to straining so I didn t think nothing of it. Well yesterday I started spotting and thought my cycle was coming on so I put a maxi pad on and nothing came out. Today around 3pm I went to the restroom for the first time no blood was on the pad but while urinating a glob of blood came out along with on the tissue. What could it be?

Hello
Blood in urine is a matter of convene which might be relate to inflammation or infection of urogenital tract, stone or certain benign lesion of urinary system

Since you also had a history of blood in stool so I would advise you to visit an emergency room immediately for battery of tests like CBC, liver function test and coagulation studies along with radiological examination of urogenital system like ultrasound and Cystoscopy or pyelogram studies.

You may require iron infusion or blood transfusion if you have lost a significant amount of blood.
Meanwhile have plenty of fluids, take laxatives or stool softeners to avoid constipation and avoid straining at stool.

Hope this answers your question
Please feel free to ask for follow up question I will be happy to help you
