Suggest Treatment For Blood Blister On Tongue

I had blister sort of item on the left side of my tongue that had bruised blood in it. I stuck a pin in it to relieve the blood because my entire tongue was sore. Now I have a hole where the pin was inserted and the blood expelled. Is that a sign of anything that needs attention? I used a q-tip and applied acohol to the area. The tenderness has subsided.

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The blood blister can be a hematoma secondary to any injury to the tongue. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can apply alternative hot and cold over the hematoma. Do not prick it or disturb that area, since the tongue is highly vascularised, it has a tendency to bleed enormously.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
