Suggest Treatment For Bleeding From Rectum After Taking Stool Softener For Constipation
My 8yr old son was constipated earlier in the week. We have him stool softener and a suppository and everything seemed ok, although he complained of a stomach ache and having to poop. Tonight he woke me crying on the toilet because his rectum is bleeding. Upon looking in the toilet I saw blood and poop with white mucus like spots through it. Doctor isn t open until Monday when I plan to take him. Should we visit the ER? He has been waking in the middle of the night to have bowel movements as well as several times a day.

don't worry,, blood &mucus with stool due to infection in lower part of colon.
it may be Amoebiasis in colon.
so plz start with metrogyl 400mg thrice daily along with zenflox 200mg,for 5dsys
blood per rectum will stop swowly
give fibre rich food,,
make a habit regular diet intake ,avoid constipation,, it Wii be cured..
