General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The type of profuse bleeding your daughter has could be due to-

-Hormonal imbalance(thyroid or ovarian problems like PCOD)
-Bleeding tendencies
-If she is sexually active, such bleeding can be after intercourse/or due to a miscarriage.

She needs physical/internal examination (if needful), investigations for hormonal estimation/uah pelvis should be done with a gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
