General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.welcome to healthcare magic forum.
Black color following tongue piercing can be either a simple hematoma,or beginning of gangrene.Whereas the former need only supportive management with antibiotics and analgesics, the later is an emergency. You should immediately consult a doctor to determine the condition.Meanwhile, bleeding can be controlled by ice pack application locally. If no gangrene,it can be managed with antibiotics and analgesics for 5-7 days.Keep good oral hygiene.
Hope you will find this information useful.Thank you.
