Suggest Treatment For Bladder Infection

I thought I had a bladder infection and I went to a UMC quick care. The Doctor did a urine test, which showed blood, but no bacteria that they could tell from their test. They prescibe me cipro. I filled the percription and took one that night. Later I had massive pain in my kidneys. about an hour after that first pain attack, I had a second pain attack, it was so bad I puked. 2 questions: should I continue to take the cipro? and if I have kidney stones and I can tolerate the pain do I need to go to a hopspital which will most like just perscribe pain medication?

Hi, blood in urine with no bacteria or WBC may be due to stones most commonly. You need to confirm the diagnosis with ultrasound KUB. If stone is bigger than the size of 0.6cm then probably hydrotherapy will not work and you need to go for other intervention depending on the location of the stone. FOr pain relief, please take pain killer and smooth mucsle relaxants like hyoscine 10-15mg three times a day and continue having cipro.
