Suggest Treatment For Bacterial Vaginosis And Pin Worm Infection

Is there any correlation between pinworms and bacterial vaginosis? My four year old son has pinworms and myself and my three sons took Pin X today. He s not experiencing symptoms anymore and I feel like my symptoms are just beginning. As much as I would love for the itching to be a psychological/paranoid reaction to this very new experience as a parent, I m pretty sure I have them as well. As if that weren t enough, I know have a discharge I don t think I have had before. Does this sound like I have one or both? I haven t seen worms except for on my son And the vaginal discharge began a couple of hours after taking Pin X. I took a probiotic at that point. If so, is there anything else I can do to ensure I get rid of bacterial vaginosis and/or pinworms, ASAP?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There is no known connection between the pin worms and bacterial vaginosis.

It is possible to have these infections together but they are not related.

Topical or oral medication is available for treatment of bacterial vaginosis.
Metronidazole or tinidazole are the medications that can be used orally.

I hope this helps
