Suggest Treatment For Back Pain While On Meloxicam

Hi! I m having big back pain issues. Unless sitting still, the pain is sharp and really hurts. I ve tried Meloxicam as my doctor said. It seems to do nothing in this case. I have COPD and I can t cough or sneeze or tip my head up to take pills. Can t reach for things either. Anyway, I m trying cold pack now. If it does nothing, I wish to try 2 Aleve pills, but took 15 mg. of Meloxicam 10 hours ago. Will there still be an interaction between the two after that amount of time?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can try the aleve if there is no relief from your pain. If the pain is not recent, the use of a warm compress may be more helpful to you. It can be applied 2 to 3 times a day for 10 to 15 mins.
You can also add paracetamol to the aleve to see if medications from different drug families can work together

If there is no relief with the pain medication and compress, you may need another type of pain killer added.

I hope this helps
