Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Pregnancy can be avoided by taking emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours after an event of unprotected intercourse. It would prevent pregnancy by causing withdrawal bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of its intake.
What you have been prescribed appears to be medication to cause menstruation. In such case, you should have got periods by 5 - 7 days after stopping the medication.
It would be ideal for you to take a urine pregnancy test and undergo abdominal ultrasound scan first and then consult Gynecologist with report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
In case pregnancy is positive, it can be terminated by intake of abortion pills if it is less than 10 weeks or need to undergo surgical abortion if it is more than 10 weeks.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
