Hi,

Well, as your thumb has healed, it is a good sign and gradually the numbness will also get better but it takes times. This is because the terminal nerve endings get damaged leading to numb feeling, however, can gradually get better.

As far as pain in arm and shoulder is concerned, it is not due to the thumb and can be most probably muscle related or muscular pain.

However, a clinical examination has to be done for ruling out the exact cause and treated accordingly.

For now, you can take muscle relaxant like Chlorzoxazone or Tizanidine and use muscle relaxant sprays.

You might need Physiotherapy but first get it clinically checked and if needed an X-ray can be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
