Suggest Treatment For Anxiety While On Fluoxetine

Hi, I suffer from anxiety and started fluoxetine 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed this weird feeling at the top of my head like as if a bubble was in my head and has a pressure like feeling to it. I wanted to know if this was from my anxiety or if it could be something more serious. Thanks

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Head bubble and pressure like feeling are in relation with underlying anxiety only nothing more serious.

Continue fluoxetine along with:
• Walking in fresh air, deep breathing, and yoga for 1 hour daily are the best free of charge medicine for you.
• Take adequate sound sleep for 7 to 8 hours daily.
• Avoid smoking/alcohol if using.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
