Hi,
Repeated ulceration and inflammation of palate can be due to one of the following reasons:
Aphthous or aphthoid ulcer can cause such changes, this is recurrent, and probably related to deficiency of vitamins, mineral or so.
Colitis can be a reason which needs to be investigated for and treated if present with proper supplements as per the reports.
Lichen planus and such diseases that are related to autoimmune parts.
Recurrent minor
salivary gland inflammation.
This can best be diagnosed by the following:
Consult an ENT or Oral surgeon for proper clinical evaluation, biopsy and other investigations,
CT scan of the area if caner or such things are suspected.
This will give a proper diagnosis and thus allow proper management.
Till then start taking multivitamins, minerals, trace elements with
Lycopene.
Regular cleaning of mouth by drinking plain water.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
