Suggest Treatment For An Achy Sensation On One Side Of The Face

I have a sensation on the left hand side of my face from across the corner of my eye, cheekbone and cheek. It's more of an ache than a pain and I feel like something is sitting on my face!l it drives me crazy!

I do have Acute on Chronic Sinusitus My me is Judy Raine and I'm 66 years of age

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms of achy sensation over face, corner of eye and cheekbone with a history of sinusitis seems to be consistent with activation of sinus infection causing sinusitis..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..ion he can advise you to take antibiotics like Azithromycin or levofloxacin, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Advil, if there is congestion decongestants like Phenylephrine can be given oral as well as nasal..
Saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalations and steroid nasal sprays can further help..
As of now you can take tylenol or advil for pain and do warm compresses over the face..
Do steam inhalations and avoid chilled foods and if possible air conditioned atmosphere..

In case of sinus infect
