Suggest Treatment For Allergic Rash And Swelling

I had a bad allergic reaction to something in my yard a few days ago and had a rash and swelling. I have just seen a doctor yesterday and he prescribed Cephalexin 500MG Cap Lup. I took a total of 6 pills between yesterday and now but I do not see any improvement. When should the drug take affect?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms it seems that you have allergic reaction leading to rash and swelling and can be due to some bug bite or any thing else..

For relief you need anti-histamines or anti-allergics like Cetrizine or Fexofenadine (Allegra) for relief..
Along with it you can apply Steroid based ointment like Methylprednisolone over rash and swelling..
Do cold compresses over rash and swelling..
Continue taking antibiotic as it will prevent any infection from sprouting..
