Suggest Treatment For Age Spots And Crusty Growth All Over Body

I have many age spots. Last year in an appointment with a dermatologist I was told not to worry about cancer they will turn into crusty brown sports. Well, I now have lots of these crusty growths all over my body. It is hard to stop picking at them. Is there anything that I can do for these and additionally what discussion should I have with a new dermatologist. I was sold a bottle of Kligman s Solution ,8% Hydroquinoe and .025 Retin-A at the dermatologists office. Unfortunately I spilled most of it before I had a chance to use it and have moved from that town.

Hello,

I can understand your concern for treatment for age spots and crusty growth all over body. Treatment for age spots and crusty growth all over body requires proper evaluation of the skin and then proper best treatment for it. In my patients I generally use cryotherapy or treatment with radiofrequency ablation in multiple sittings.

You have been provided good treatment with Kligman's Solution, Hydroquinone and o.025 Retin-A which requires bit longer time and patience. Additionally chemical application with either trichloroacetic acid or salicylic acid can be applied under dermatological supervision only. You can discuss further with a dermatologist.
