Hi..
Welcome to HCM..

So sorry to hear about your problem and will try my level best to resolve it to the best of my knowledge and experience..

As per your query an abscess over the gum of the root canal treated and crowned tooth along with swelling over the roof of the mouth is an indication that there is re-infection in your root canal treated tooth and there is pus formation below the root tips of the tooth and it has led to accumulation of pus in the soft tissues that is appearing like an abscess over the gum and swollen roof of mouth..
You need to get an x ray of the tooth done under supervision of a dentist and the dentist will evaluate the condition of the tooth and if it can be saved re-root canal treatment of the tooth will be done followed by replacement of the cap..
You will also be given a course of antibiotics and painkiller to relieve the pain and resolution of infection..
In case if tooth cannot be saved extraction is advisable..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
