Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Pain And Loose Stool In An Elderly Person
Hi, Based on the history you have shared, she may need oral vancomycin and metronidazole combination with such resistant C. diff. For cramps, oral antispasmodic like drotaverine can be helpful. Oral water and salts replacement should be ensured as well. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
