Suggest Treatment For Abdominal Bloating And Foul Vaginal Odor

I am experiencing a bad vaginal odor. Started off the day after my period, I had some spotting and the smell began. The spotting stopped and I thought the smell would go away soon. I though perhaps I had left a tampon in so I searched for it but nothing. I also used an overnight yeast infection treatment but that did not help the smell. although there weren t really any symptoms of yeast infection(I ve experienced several ) except my urine appeared cloudy as with a yeast infection.no itching or burning. The treatment did not help the smell. It has now been a month and the smell is still here. I should be getting my period today but I haven t yet. I m hoping it will go away after my period. I have experienced white/clear discharge, and cramping, and bloating, no spotting. I ve felt around inside and it seems like things are swollen or enlargered Inside if that makes sense? Just wondering what this might be.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to bacterial vaginosis and associated yeast infection. A swab test will be helpful to rule out this. It is better to do a urine routine test and if puss cells are present then better to do a culture also. Pelvic examination by gynecologist should be done o rule out any pelvic infection also. For bacterail vaginosis if you were my patient then I would suggest using vaginal suppositories containng combination of antibiotics like clindmycin or metronidazole with clotrimazole. Using intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora is also recommended.
