Suggest Treatment For A Small Bump On The Hand

Small raised bump on palm of my hand. It hurts under pressure. I thought it a splinter and dug it out to find nothing. When it healed it made an even larger black dot and tougher skin around it. I have herpetic Whitlow. But it normally surfaces on my index finger. The bump is below my palm. What is this?
