Hello, Aspirin should be avoided as there are chances of bleeding or other coagulation disturbances in the case of painful varicose veins. My guidelines till consultation with expert vascular surgeon: - Keep the leg elevated over 3-4 pillows when resting - Avoid prolong leg dependent position - Avoid excess weight bearing or prolong walking, running activities - Avoid smoking if consuming - Control of blood pressure, body weight, blood sugar and cholesterol - Stockinet support during mobilisation - Analgesic such as Diclofenac, acetaminophen or Tramadol hydrochloride through prescription as per the choice of your primary care taker Take care.
