Suggest Treatment For A Lump On The Temple Region And Jaw Pain
I was assaulted about an hour ago by 2 guys. They punched me several times toward the temple on the left side of my head and they also punched the lower part of my jaw. Just right above the temple where their top knuckles hit me, I have a soft lump. the lump is about 3/4 of an inch long. When I open my mouth, my jaw starts to hurt and that pain seems to travel to my lumps. If I had to rate my pain from 1to 10, I would say that my pain is about an eight. Also, the left side of my head seems to be hotter than the right side of my head.
I can understand your concern. Your lump on scalp is due to collection of blood and edema of soft tissue below skin. It hurts on pressing it or due to movement of muscle and skin during jaw movement. But don't worry, it will disappear in 10-14 days.
For pain, : you can apply cold compresses, : avoid pressing it, : avoid lying on side where lump is present : take pain killers with anti-inflammatory effects like Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription. It helps in reducing pain and edema.
Thanks. hope it will help you. Take care.
