Suggest Treatment For A Lump On The Penis Head

I have a lump on the top side of my penis about halfway between the base and the head. It is around 3/4 of an inch in length and almost directly in the center from left to right. When stretched it almost looks as though there are three seperate lumps. There s no pain, discoloration, scabbing, or discharge. More like there s just some extra tissue under the skin. I m 30 years old, in good health, and I exercise regularly. I do smoke and drink more than I should though. I ve only been with one woman for the last 6 years who does have hpv, however this doesn t look anything like a wart. I personally have never been tested for an std. My concern is the possibility of penile cancer. I m hoping someone can reassure me it s not. I m not sure what kind of doctor to see for it... I don t have a primary care physician, I mainly go to an urgent care clinic for any health concerns. Do I need to see a urologist for this? The big question is: is this likely to be cancer?

Sexologist 's  Response
Hi,

Hope you have done a panel of sexually transmitted infection tests. I cannot reassure you unless I see a report. Doing an ultrasound and Doppler penis can help. Yes, it better you have a confirmation from a urologist since you need these investigations.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S. R. Raveendran, Sexologist
