Suggest Treatment For A Fast Heart Rate

Hy, I'm a 17 years girl and I feel like I had fever but i checked my body temperature and it was normal. 37.2 . I don't have cold symptoms but I feel my heart beating a little to hard and i'm not in a really good shape. I've been feeling like this for 2-3 days. Please give me an advise.

Hello,

You need to get a few tests done to rule out the basic cause of palpitations in young females

1. Complete blood count to rule out anaemia
2. Thyroid profile to rule out any dysfunction
3. Holter monitoring to rule out any transient arrhythmia.

Along with this, you need to follow a healthy lifestyle.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhanu Partap, Cardiologist
