Hi Welcome to HCM. I understand your query and concern. Your treadmill test is suggestive of impaired blood supply to the coronary vessels in presence of external workload on the heart as exercise in this case. This test suggests that there are significant stenotic/narrowed vessels in your heart, through which the amount of blood flow is normal/adequate under resting conditions but not under conditions of increased demand. This TMT prompts you to have a coronary angiogram/CAG which is radiographic visualisation of the coronary blood vessels. The degree of stenosis can be accurately assessed through this investigation.Based on the test results, definitive procedures to correct the stenotic vessels is done under an in situ metallic stent placement. This stenting will now improve the blood flow under exercising conditions as well thereby preventing heart attacks in future. The parameters you attained are normal for your age and sex.Discuss about this CAG with your concerned cardiologist. Post your further queries,if any. Thank you.
