Suggest Treatment For A Bump On The Labia Majora

I have a boil on my vagina and it has opened by itself. I saw thick blood coming. Clean that area with cotton and after shave lotion. I have polysporin complete 3 antibiotics and Lanacane crème medication. Which one should I apply on that opened boil? Although I was using Lanacane on the boil since last week. Now it is opened. I do not know what to do now. Please help me.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a general surgeon and do a pus culture and start antibiotics according to the culture reports.

Nothing much to worry as it will respond well to proper antibiotics. Apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin after cleaning with soap and water.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
