Suggest Treatment For A Boil Around Armpit

I have a boil around my armpit, I had a friend at work poke it with a siringe and squeeze it she got alot of cottage cheese puss and a lil dark thing that was hard. I had the np right me a prescription for an antibiotic. I ve continued with warm compresses how do I kno if its healing and not gonna come back

I have gone through your query and being your physician i completely understand your health concerns.
For how long u are suffering from it? Any other associated problem? like diabetes ? Are u running fever? Any other lymph node swelling in ur neck?
Boil having puss need to be drained, alnd requires proper antibiotics and analgesics. which antibiotics u are using?
You should see ur doctor so that you can be examined and managed well. you may need drainage of the puss for proper healing.
Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain and dont stop your antibiotics without doctor advice
