General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to occipital neuralgia.

Some of the causes can be trauma to the back of the head or neck tension.

I suggest using painkillers such as ibuprofen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
